About The Course

This course will focus on providing assistance to individuals during mealtime, with an emphasis on promoting their involvement in every aspect of their food and fluid care. Whenever possible, the individual should be encouraged and supported to take an active role in their own mealtime experience. When assistance is necessary, it is essential that this support is offered in a manner that is both discreet and respectful, ensuring the individual's dignity is maintained at all times. Additionally, it is important to honor and accommodate the individual’s personal preferences, ensuring that their specific needs, likes, and dislikes are respected. The goal is to provide assistance in a way that promotes independence while offering the necessary care and support.
