It includes definitions around what constitutes “Supervision” and “Appraisal” and examines the differences between the two, how they fit into the performance management process, the importance of good record keeping, how to set SMART objectives, and the role of confidentiality when conducting supervisions and appraisals.

Explain the differences between Management Supervision and Clinical/Professional Supervision
Understand how Appraisals and Supervisions fit into the Performance Management process
